Flex-Auger Fill Systems
The Flex-Auger System’s simple, high-quality, fully-enclosed auger moves feed up, down, on-the-level, or around corners. The tubing is made of specially-compounded PVC, which makes it resistant to ultraviolet light and resistant to wear. For some abrasive free-flowing feeds like those used in egg production, fill systems with steel tubing are available. The Flex-Auger Feed Delivery System is available in a variety of capacities for use in a wide variety of feeding applications.
Outlet Drop & Drop Tube
The easy-to-install outlet drop features a simple shut-off device. Flexible and rigid drop tubes are available.
Power Unit & Controls
A direct drive unit (motor and gearhead) rotates the coreless auger. A variety of hopper level and drop tube switches are available to regulate feed delivery. Optional time clock and programmable controls are also available.
Bin (Silo) Transition & Boot Options
There are different bin transition and boot options you can choose from: 30 degree (discharge angle) single and twin outlet bin boots, high-capacity single and twin outlet boots, or the single and twin straight-through tandem boot systems. Chore-Time Brock’s transparent transitions offer improved visibility of the feed flow to the bin’s boot and auger system.
Feed Bins
Chore-Time’s Feed Bins have a number of features and benefits unique to Chore-Time:
40-Degree Roof
Allows users to fill the feed bin (silo) to the top. The additional height helps truck drivers to see the fill hole more easily and assists them in positioning the fill auger properly.
Hydroshield Weather Guard
Rain running down the bin’s sidewall is forced to drip off the Hydroshield and fall to the ground, eliminating water problems in the boot area.
Access PlusHopper Access Door
This permits an individual to open the door, clean out the entire inside of the bin, close and seal without ever having to leave the ground. The Access Plus door panel also features a rubber-like seal to re-seal the hopper opening after each use.
Shaker-Plate Material Flow Control
For first-in, first-out feed bin performance, the Shaker-Plate helps the bin feed out consistently and trouble-free. It causes feed to slide down the sidewall and hopper in a mass flow, constantly cleaning and polishing the inside of the bin. This mass flow action eliminates opportunities for feed to hang up and turn stale or moldy.
Spring-Lock Lid
This offers the benefit of a lid with a positive, spring-aided closing action that resists wind and helps keep rain out. It is easy to open with one hand and slides down the roof out of the way of the feed truck’s auger. Remote access option provides added biosecurity.
Transparent Bin Transitions
Visually inspect the feed flow to the bin’s (silo’s) boot and auger system with one of Chore-Time Brock’s transparent bin transitions. Made from a transparent polycarbonate material, these bin transitions offer high strength and high impact resistance. The transitions are available in translucent red or clear models.

Feed Bin Inventory System
Chore-Time’s Feed Inventory System makes precise feed management simple and economical. The Feed Inventory System provides an economical means for managing and monitoring feed stored in feed bins (silos) on the farm.
Producers can easily check feed bin weights by using a read-out screen, and get precise weights to aid in better managing feed inventories and help prevent costly out-of-feed events
Product Features and Advantages:
- Mounts on the feed bin or can be located in a building up to 1,000 feet (300 m) away
- Offers a built-in communication (FNM) board and data port for off-site monitoring using Chore-Time C-Central™ software
- Displays feed weights for up to two separate bins sitting on two different sets of load cells
- Shows weight in either pounds or kilograms along with date and time displayed with either 12- or 24-hour clock setting
- Practical screen navigation and edit keys offer quick indicator control set-up and changes
- Password-protected access feature restricts control operation to authorized users only
